Get the machete!!! Actually everything's good there, and it is served within a decent amount of time. But this time I was going to a "board party", and I planned to do a board with a carne asada machete and nachos. I gave them the board I was taking to the party, and they set it up beautifully, classy. & they fight charge any more to do that.
Excellent food that is reasonably priced and made to order. Service is quick and efficient. I've been told that they're using their actual Grandmother's recipes. Maybe that's why everything tastes so good! Mainly I get takeout here, but there's a noce little eating area for those who can't wait to dig in... casual and comfy!
This place is awesome! It's walking distance from my house, so my family and I are there frequently. Most of the time we order our food over the phone and then we walk over to pick it up. I've tried a couple of their menu options. I mostly order their taco plate special, quesabirria's and burritos. These items usually come with a side of chips and either green or red salsa. I love the flavors and how quickly everything comes out! The service is always great! The guys working there already know my family and I which is nice. They have a couple of tables in a little patio area if you want to eat there.
We love this spot! The portions of food are great and the food is delicious. Every time I have family in town they ask to go here. However, we tried to go twice recently and they were closed. Does anyone know if they are still in business?
Awesome place in Ventura to get some authentic Mexican food! We are regulars here. They have an extensive menu, but my favorite things are the carne asada burrito, the carne asada plate, and their quesabirrias. Great portions and flavors! Come here and get treated to some delicious Mexican flavors by my bud, Gil. I think they did get the secret to their cooking from their abuelita! Get a carne asada burrito with some green salsa and thank me later!
Everything was perfect. Fish tacos with beans and rice, lemon, jalepeño, mild and hot salsa plus pico de gallo.

Cut to the important stuff: OVERALL: the food here is excellent! I was in need of some tacos on a cloudy Monday afternoon. Looked on Yelp, found this place, decided to give it a try. I had the tacos durado combo for $12.99. A very good deal!! You get three tacos with the meat of your choice, with rice and beans, and it was delicious! It was also very filling!! I got asada, pastor and birria. I could only eat the pastor (very tasty) and half of the asada (a little overcooked but I like charred meat). Rice was adequate, nothing special, but the beans were wonderful, smooth and creamy. SALSA: delicious salsa is foundational, in my opinion. If a restaurant can't get this right then I doubt their culinary prowess. This place gets the salsa right!! Especially the red salsa: very delicious. SERVICE: friendly and fast. AMBIANCE: Inviting and clean patio seating with umbrellas. PRICE: very affordable. Except for the fountain drinks: I paid $4 for a medium Pepsi. Large is $5. I can wholeheartedly recommend Las Delicias de Abuletio. I will be back!
Went back here for another awesome breakfast burrito. Also got 3 carnitas tacos with homemade tortillas. The tacos were great, the homemade tortillas are larger than normal ones and is definitely the way to go. I love the way they give you some chips with guacamole with the tacos. Highly recommended!
